1. Location - Perfect. Close to Abbesses and Blanche Metro, and very easy to get to the hotel from Charles de Gaulle Aeroport . Very easy to travel quickly around the city using the Metro. The hotel is a quiet haven on a quiet street, and the surrounding area still has a relaxed, peaceful and safe character with busy bars, cafes and speciality shops - yet the hotel is within close walking distance to busier areas including the Moulin Rouge. Right in the centre of the Monmartre area and easy to stroll around the neighbourhood and the nearby Sacre Couer. It is a great base for a sightsee-ing trip with easy access to all of Paris, but in a slightly laid-back area with its own character and vibe. 2. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. This is a small family type' hotel and it is evident that the owners and their staff take pleasure in their guests enjoying their stay. The decoration is Boutique Hotel style - a little quirky but fun and very in-keeping with the Montmartre area. The owner helped me on the first evening with enquiries about the cinema and one of the night managers gave me good reviews for local restaurants. 3. I can recommend the breakfast. There is a great choice of breakfast food and plenty of it. The breakfast area is a comfortable area to spend time and I felt quite at home and comfortable as solo traveller. 4. The hotel rooms, bed linen, bathroom areas and the common areas are well-decorated and spotlessly clean. My room was thoroughly cleaned every day. 5.The reception area feels very welcoming and the dining area next to it is open during the afternoons for complimentary coffee, drinks and snacks. Although I didn't drink alcohol, I think that there is an 'honesty bar' for guests.

We spent two nights in this beautiful hotel. The decor is so interesting and creatively Parisian, really adds to the experience. Odd thing to say I know as we’re in Paris but many places don’t reflect that. I organised a Romantic package with a few twists to personalise and the staff were fabulous in happily accommodating this. It turned out to be spectacular - thank you so much to the team, my husband and I were over the moon. The room was beautiful with a view of the Sacre Coeur and Paris rooftops. Exceptionally clean with L’Occitane toiletries in the bathroom. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and so friendly. The location is perfect, quiet but central and well connected to transport services. Lots of cafes, shops nearby. Sacre Coeur within an easy walk as is the Moulin Rouge. Van Gogh’s apartment is just round the corner from the hotel and only marked by a plaque outside, making it very special. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Huge thanks to all the team, they are exceptional and most welcoming.

We stayed here in twin room (number 61) for 3 nights in April to celebrate Mum’s birthday. From the moment we stepped into the building until the moment we left we loved Hotel des Arts!! We were warmly welcomed by all staff during every encounter with them. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were immaculate and there was everything here we could possibly need, including Bluetooth speaker, chrome cast TV, l’occitaine bath products, and beautiful complimentary drinks and snacks provided in rooms and in the hotel lounge bar between 3-11pm. Location was superb - right in the heart of Montmartre and near to lots of cafes, the sacre-coeur, and shops of all kinds. There was a warm friendly buzz about the whole place early morning until late at night. Easy to get to Metro and explore the rest of Paris. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning to Hotel des Arts as a destination of choice! Thankyou to all who work there for making our stay so fantastic.

The location is great - very close to two metro stations on different lines so you can get anywhere in Paris easily. If you just want to walk, there’s a lot to explore in the area ( just be aware, it’s hilly!). The hotel feels like an oasis of relaxation in a busy area. As soon as you step through the door, one of the charming reception staff will be there to help you. They really couldn’t be kinder or more helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed - we appreciated the kettle with tea and coffee topped up daily. The bed was very comfortable with excellent bed linens and the room was very quiet at night making for good sleep quality. The bathroom had a good shower and a bath, constant hot water and we loved the high quality toiletries. A lot of thought has gone in to giving the guest the best possible stay

Susan

We loved everything about this property but we especially loved the staff. Alessandra was a standout for her assistance with so many things. The young girl with long light brown hair was also incredibly lovely to deal with. They were so welcoming and helpful after a long day of travel to get there. The breakfast area is in a small but bright area and offers a lovely selection of fresh and delicious food. The hotel is situated in THE best area of Montmartre which has so many wonderful places to visit on foot or catch the nearby metro for travel further afield. We walked to The Louvre and to Musee D’Orsay which was a long walk but we through a very pleasant area to get there. So much to see and do in Montmatre and I can’t imagine staying anywhere but Hôtel des Arts Montmatre when we return next.
